Step One:
Call or send a message to schedule an appointment. Or click on "Schedule An Appointment"
Step Two:
You will receive an email to complete intake paperwork...don't worry, I've simplified the process to save you time. And the best part, you can do it from your phone.
Step Three:
Once you've completed the intake paperwork, you'll be sent available times and a session link to a HIPAA compliant platform. On the scheduled day and time, click the link that was emailed to connect you to the virtual waiting room.
...That's it!
My mother once told me that having children is like being slowly pecked to death by a chicken.
“Mommy, I want a snack!”, “Mama! Come wipe my butt!”, “Mom, where are my shoes?!” “Mom, can I have $5?” “Mom! Mama! Mommy! Mom! Ma! Mommy! Lois!”
Peck…peck…peck...peck… Can you see it now?
Listen, being a mother is hands down, the hardest job there ever has been. There is a reason some old lady, way back when, said, “A mother’s work is never done.” Momming is exhausting. It’s beautiful. It’s relentless. It is joy exemplified. It’s often both-- polar opposite ends of the spectrum in any given day. Like some weird rollercoaster we want off of, but at the same time, can’t get enough of. Technically, we all have Stockholm syndrome. Everyone’s infatuated and in love with these tiny, vicious tyrants.
Motherhood can also be lonely. Sometimes, it’s really scary. Sometimes the scariest part is feeling like you’re having to do this monumental adventure on your own, with zero guidance. I don’t know about you, but I continually feel like how I felt when the nurses watched me buckle my little, wrinkly newborn babe into the car seat for the first time and said, “Welp. Good luck to you! Call if you have any major bleeding.” (THAT’S IT?! I just get to leave?! Without a ‘How to’ booklet?!)
And that’s why I want to offer this space to you. A space that is filled with nothing but honoring how hard this job is, but also relishing and reveling in the beauty that is the gift of motherhood. A space for confidence building in your role as a mom. For resources and support; brainstorming and building. A space that’s warm, inviting and comforting – just like you, mama. A space, full of other moms, sharing their experience so we can all learn from one another. A space that will help you be the happiest and healthiest mom you can be.
Because life doesn’t come with a manual, babe. It comes with a mother.
